HIV Prevalence in Nigeria is 1.4%, according to the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA). The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) in Nigeria is a federal government agency responsible for supporting the control of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria as well as monitoring and evaluating HIV/AIDS activities in Nigeria, amongst others.

The Highest HIV Prevalent Region in Nigeria (2019) is the South-South region with a total of 16.6% of the entire HIV prevalence rate in Nigeria. The South-East trails with a total of 9% of the total prevalence rate in Nigeria.

The South-East trails with a total of 9% of the total HIV prevalence rate in Nigeria. Anambra has the highest HIV prevalence rate in the entire South East with a percentage of 2.4%. Enugu and Abia follow with 2.1%.
